By Ramon Planas

From a well dried and seasoned briarwood (about fifteen years). Ergonomic form, in order to fit well in your hand.

A freehand pipe, completely handcrafted. It is very slight in weight, like a feather. Straight grain across and bird eyes in the other side. Acrylic mouthpiece, fitted with a teflon cone.

I sign all my pipes with my trade mark brand: a little circle piece of “antalis” ( a genus of tusk shell) and Mediterranean red coral inside.

This pipe reminds me to:

The Dunnock (prunella modularis)

A small brown and grey bird. Quiet and unobtrusive, it is often seen on its own, creeping along the edge of a flower bed or near to a bush moving with a rather nervous shuffling gait, often flicking its wings as it goes.
