Due to the exceptional growing of briar roots you can only get briarwood pipe bowls with bird eyes at 360º by means of small ones.
In this pipe you can see that wonderful effect, coming from an -about twelve years old- briar root, enlarged with a heart of a pine cone extension. It is very light and extraordinarily porous.
A very different pipe and it's very good smoker. Coloured acrylic mouthpiece with a teflon tenon.
This pipe reminds me to…
The Eurasian Bittern (Botaurus Stellaris), a wading bird. It is a secretive bird, seldom seen in the open as it prefers to skulk in reed beds and thick vegetation near water bodies.
Bitters are the thickset herons with bright, pale, buffi-brown plumage covered with dark streaks and bars.
